My initial comment was misleading. They are correct to be in the POT file. What
should actually not be translated is the variable name in the Python format
specifiers.

The reason to have them in the POT is that some languages might need
reordering, might not be using colons, or might be right-to-left. Of course,
having a comment describe this would be a good thing.
